I have worked at Clayton & Scott since it opened in 1986, first as a dental nurse working alongside Mr. Scott. As the practice grew, I became the practice manager. The main focus has always been about putting patients first and providing a first-class service. Most of the staff have been here for many years and I have always felt proud to be part of such a friendly and committed team. My hobbies include listening to music and dancing, going to soul and funk venues. I enjoy family time with my children and grandchildren. I also love walking in the lakes of North Wales taking in the views

I grew up in Warrington and qualified from Liverpool in 1988. After six months of working as a house office in Liverpool Dental Hospital, I moved to Germany, where I worked for ten years in a rural community dental practice near Hamburg. I have worked at Clayton & Scott since 2003 and it has been a real privilege to serve my local community as a dentist. In my spare time, I like to be with my family and our three dogs, go to the cinema, read, bake and visit local stately homes and art galleries.

I started Dental Nursing in 2002 and have been at Clayton & Scott since 2008. I am very enthusiastic about my work and am keen to provide the highest quality service to our patients, I get a buzz from seeing the incredible improvements we can make to patients, and how much it can transform their whole outlook. I really do love the interaction we have with patients, I strive to ensure they are put at ease, and reassured about what they are having done and it’s especially rewarding to be able to help nervous patients through their journey. Away from the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, and really appreciate being outdoors walking with my partner and our dog.

My name is Jen and I have worked at the practice since May 2012, qualifying as a dental nurse in early 2013. I really love working with the team here, but the best part of my job is meeting the patients and supporting them through their treatment from their first appointment onwards. I am dedicated to providing a high level of care so that our patients feel comfortable during their treatment, and it is especially rewarding to be able to help nervous patients relax and feel at ease. I am always keen to learn about new or different treatments and I keep my knowledge as a Dental Nurse updated as often as I can. I enjoy going on adventures with my husband, little girl, and two dogs, particularly taking long walks in different new places and spending time together as a family.

My name is Jennifer, I began working for Clayton & Scott in August 2018, I had previously worked in two different practices, and have a wide range of experience working in different surgery environments. I am dedicated and hard-working and thrive on the challenges of a busy practice. I love seeing improvements that can be made to a patient’s smile and really enjoy doing cosmetic dental procedures. I continually challenge myself and am keen to study for further postgraduate qualifications. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with family and keeping fit, this is helped by running with my dog, as she helps to keep me very active! I also love taking part in pub quizzes and attend with my friends on a regular basis.
Hi, my name’s Lyn. I qualified as a dental nurse in 1983 and worked in a dental practice in my home town down south. Since moving to the North a number of years ago, I have held other positions but returned to dentistry at Clayton & Scott. I was first a dental nurse here but now work on reception. I enjoy walking, gardening and spending time with family.
